Jamie Vardy hopes Leicester City can strike a permanent deal to sign Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The Belgian was brilliant on loan for the Foxes during the second half of the season.

"Like I say it is down to the club and obviously if they try to sign him it is down to the hierarchy to try and sort that deal out," said Vardy.

"He has been amazing. He is a great lad as well. He just wants to get on with football work and enjoy it and he has definitely been doing that. So we will see come the start of next season."
