Manchester City have prioritised the signing of Harry Maguire this summer.

The Daily Mailsays City believe Maguire is the perfect replacement for Vincent Kompany, who has left the club after 11 years.

The report adds that Pep Guardiola made a beeline for Maguire to congratulate him for his performance in City's 1-0 win over the Foxes last month.

But Leicester will not make it easy for City.

The Foxes want to keep 26-year-old Maguire as a statement and have hinted that City would need to pay more than the £75m price Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk.
