Leicester City are set to rival Southampton in the race to sign Ibrahima Diallo.

The French midfielder is a hot property in the transfer window at the moment.

According to Le Telegramme, via Get French Football News, Diallo is set to be the subject of an offer from Leicester.

Their manager Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of the 21-year-old, while Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl also wants to sign the player.

L'Equipe claims a Saints offer is coming soon as well.

It will be a tug of war between the two clubs, but Leicester may have the upper hand as they can offer Europa League football to Diallo.
