Leicester City are set to announce the signing of Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler.
Zieler flew to Leicester over the weekend to have a medical and hold contract talks over a move to the King Power Stadium.
Reports in Germany claim the 27-year-old passed his medical and has agreed terms over a four-year deal with Leicester set to pay Hannover 3.5m (£2.6m) having activated Zieler's release clause after the German club's relegation from the Bundesliga, says the Leicester Mercury.
The World Cup winner will provide stern competition to Kasper Schmeichel, who told Danish press he is embracing the challenge and even expects a second new goalkeeper to arrive.
