Leicester City are prepared to sell James Maddison in January.
Football Insider says Leicester City have placed a £60 million price tag on Maddison in an attempt to ward off interest from Newcastle. T
Newcastle failed with two summer bids for Maddison, who has entered the final two years of his contract at the King Power Stadium. The 26-year-old has started the season in fine form, and earned his first international call-up to take his place in England's World Cup squad.
The Magpies are not expected to replicate their approach to the last two transfer windows, due to Financial Fair Play concerns.
The lofty price tag could lead Eddie Howe's side to wait until the summer when Leicester may be more willing to do business considering Maddison's contract status.
