Sacked Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti is wanted by Leicester City.

The Times says Leicester's owners are seeking talks with Ancelotti after dumping Craig Shakespeare on Tuesday.

The Italian is in England this week, having been spotted at Stamford Bridge for the draw between his former clubs Chelsea and Roma.

Ancelotti is on Leicester's shortlist, though Burnley boss Sean Dyche is their priority.

However, the Clarets' £2.5m compensation demands are proving a stumbling block.
