Leicester seek quick manager appointment; four free agents considered

Leicester City are seeking Premier League experience as they move to replace former manager Brendan Rodgers.

After four years in charge, Rodgers was sacked by the Foxes on Saturday after defeat at Crystal Palace.

Transfer expert Ekrem Konur is reporting Leicester aim to make a quick appointment and are focusing on the free agency market.

Under consideration are Rafael Benitez (most recently with Everton), Jesse Marsch (most recently with Leeds United), Ralph Hasenhüttl (most recently with Southampton) and Adi Hütter (most recently with Borussia Mönchengladbach).

The Mirror says the 62-year-old Benitez is rated as favourite.
