Nigel Pearson looks set to stick with a five-man defence for Leicester City's clash with Hull City this weekend.
The bottom-placed Foxes host the Tigers in a vital fixture at the King Power Stadium but Pearson insists his defensive mindset should not be seen as a negative approach.
"Formations are not the be all and end all," he said.
"We have got some Premier League know-how out there now and it has also freed up some of our more creative players.
"I am not saying it is going to be the only way to go but it has proved to be a decent system."
