Leicester City remain in the hunt for departing Southampton fullback Ryan Bertrand.

The Leicester Mercury says the Foxes are also said to be on the lookout for a left-back in the summer window as they search for someone to compete with academy graduate Luke Thomas for the position.

One of the names to be linked is England international Bertrand, who is leaving Southampton this summer.

City have been holding talks with the 31-year-old and are said to be in pole position to secure his services.
