Jamie Carragher feels Leicester City were extremely unlucky to lose 2-1 to Arsenal on Sunday.
The Foxes took the lead on the stroke of half-time through a Jamie Vardy penalty before they lost Danny Simpson to a second yellow card less than 10 minutes into the second half.
That gave Arsenal the motivation to go after an equaliser which came via Theo Walcott in the 70th minute before Danny Welbeck returned to head home in the fifth minute of stoppage time, giving the Gunners a last-gasp triumph.
Despite the defeat, former Liverpool defender Carragher felt Claudio Ranieri's men were good value for at least a result as their gap at the top of the Premier League table was cut to two points.
"Forget the last-minute goal, Leicester played like champions there, I felt," said Carragher on Sky Sports.
"They've come to the Emirates, deservedly gone 1-0 in front, then down to 10 men. How long was it before Arsenal had a shot on target?
"The way they threw their bodies in front of everything, the way they defended. They did perform like champions and they've been very unfortunate there."
