Leicester City midfielder Matty James says he and Danny Drinkwater are grateful for their football education at Manchester United.
Drinkwater, 24, signed in January 2012 after four different loan spells, while James, 22, joined that summer after a year at Preston. The pair have known each other since they were ten years old and were raised similarly, first under Paul McGuinness, then Warren Joyce and Rene Meulensteen.
"We both learnt the game the same way, by the same managers, the same coaches," James told the Daily Mail. "We've both been out on loan, we've both experienced the first team at United. We're both very hungry to get back to the Premier League."
