Leicester City assistant manager Chris Davies says they were delighted with their Carabao Cup win against MK Dons.
The Foxes are into the quarterfinals thanks to the 3-0 triumph.
Davies said: "It was a really good evening for us, a really positive evening. Having been a few weeks away from competitive games, it was good to get back with a good performance and a good win.
"The cohesion was really good. We had the majority of the squad with us in Abu Dhabi and at Seagrave, so there have been things we have been working on, and we have retained that fluidity. It was nice to see that. We were hoping that could be the perfect game for us leading into the Premier League restarting and it turned out to be that."
On James Maddison's absence, Davies added: “It's just getting him up to speed. He'll be training this week. He's good. He was training with England every session. He's fine. It's just a question of getting him up to speed. He came back a little bit later than the other guys, so he wasn't quite up to speed for starting."
