Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans is delighted working with manager Brendan Rodgers.
The 22-year-old said he prefers managers who are direct in telling him where he must improve.
“Rodgers, for example, helps me a lot in the theoretical aspect surrounding the game," Tielemans said. “Why do such a thing? And why now? How to defend without a ball? When to get yourself forward? In fact, it helps me understand the game better. In training, he really insists on it.
“I have a really good relationship with Brendan Rodgers. In fact, I have always liked coaches who are transparent, who dare to tell me things.
“Sure, sometimes it's hard to take, but it helps me to move forward at least. I find it interesting to be pushed around, to be told how to move forward. This is to take another step.
“The coaches who do this are good coaches."
