Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans has ducked questions about interest from Liverpool.

While away with Belgium at Euro 2020, Tielemans is being linked with Liverpool as a replacement for new PSG signing Gini Wijnaldum.

"I am not at all concerned with that at the moment," emphasised Tielemans when asked whether he considers himself capable of following in Wijnaldum's footsteps at Liverpool.

"Let the journalists pass judgment on that, they undoubtedly have a lot to report about it.

"But I have nothing to do with that. I can only make sure that I perform as well as possible on the field."

He added: "I don't think about that at all, all attention is now focused on the European Championship. Transfer rumors leave me cold and no transfer amount will change anything for me. I now only want to perform as well as possible at the European Championship."
