Leicester City midfielder James Maddison is convinced they're showing title winning form.

The Foxes recorded their fifth straight Premier League victory at Brighton on Saturday to remain Liverpool's closest challengers, the gap between the sides standing at eight points.

It is only the third time City have recorded five victories in a row in the Premier League, with the first of those streaks coming at the end of the glorious 2015-16 season.

Maddison believes runs of wins are typical of clubs challenging for silverware, and he says City will not let up as they look to win six on the bounce for the first time in the Premier League era when they host Everton on Sunday.

He said: “The teams that always win titles and are right up there, they always go through spells when the momentum is with them and they take advantage of that, getting wins in consecutive games like we're doing at the minute."
