Leicester midfielder Maddison pleased to score in Euro win

Leicester City midfielder James Maddison was pleased to score in their Europa League victory over Zorya.

Maddison, Kelechi Iheanacho and Harvey Barnes struck the goals for the Foxes.

He later said, "We wanted to get off to a good start in the competition. We didn't know too much about them but we handed the occasion well. We play a Europa League game every week for the next few weeks so it was important to make that start.

"They started well but we have got strength in depth, we have a good attacking group and we were clinical.

"It's been stop start for me with little injuries but I feel good now, that was another hour and a goal. It takes a while to get up to speed and I missed pre-season."
