Vicente Iborra's mooted switch from Leicester City to Sevilla would be "complicated", according to the La Liga club's director of football.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a return to Spain, namely former clubs Levante and Sevilla.
But the latter's director of football, Joaquin Caparros, says a move for the defensive midfielder will not be simple.
"Iborra is there. He is a player we know, but it is complicated," Caparros said.
"When players leave, they do it for an economic reason. When they return, they want contracts of two or three seasons.
"But we have to be careful with all that, because we can end up having a team with a very high average age and that is a problem."
