Leicester City have reportedly submitted a £23million offer for Santos young gun Gabriel Barbosa.

The Daily Mail understands that the reigning Premier League champions have lodged the big-money offer amid interest from the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

19-year-old Barbosa, dubbed 'Gabigol', is currently with the Brazil U23 at the Olympic Games but could quite possibly be on his way to England or Europe at the completion.

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is eager to further add strength to his strike force having already lured Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow and is set to bid for Barbosa who has been prolific in his homeland.

Spanish giants Barcelona, along with Italian duo Juventus and Inter Milan, are also showing interest in the teenage strike sensation.
