Leicester City have jumped into the battle for St Etienne defender Wesley Fofana.

It's emerged in recent weeks that ASSE are preparing to sell Fofana this summer - and had been expected to move within Ligue 1.

However, Le 10 Sport says Leicester have approached St Etienne to register their interest.

The Foxes have asked St Etienne about Fofana's situation and availability.

Fofana, 19, has a deal with ASSE to 2024.
