Leicester City are lining up a bid for Celtic defender Kris Ajer.

Ajer is expected to leave the Hoops this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport's Nicolo Schira reports the Celtic defender's new agents are in negotiations with Leicester about a move.

Brendan Rodgers' side are reportedly set to offer €20 million (£18m), to sign the 22-year-old from the Parkhead club.

AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in Ajer, while a report last week claimed that City were at the front of a queue to sign Ajer ahead of their Premier League rivals Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City.
