Sacked AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim is fielding interest from Leicester City, it has been revealed.

Le 10 Sport says Leicester are in contact with the Portuguese's representatives.

Foxes boss Claude Puel isn't under immediate threat, though needs results to quickly improve to be sure his job is safe.

In the meantime, Leicester have put Jardim on notice and made him aware he would be under consideration should Puel be shown the door.

Jardim was sacked by Monaco a fortnight ago and replaced by Thierry Henry.
