Southampton skipper Steven Davis believes Leicester City's stellar season shows the rest of the Premier League teams that anything is possible.
The Foxes remain top of the table after 29 matches in what has been a fantastic overall display having only narrowly avoided relegation last term.
Whether they win the title or not, Saints star Davis feels that the fairytale story of Claudio Ranieri's Leicester gives belief to fellow middle and lower clubs that they can mix it with the big boys.
"I think it gives other teams inspiration," Davis said. "What they have done is incredible this year, to show that kind of consistency.
"Everybody has said all along they were just waiting for them to slip up but they seem to have got that drive and determination. They fully deserve to be where they are, fair play to them.
"Maybe it gives everybody else that incentive that they can achieve something like that."
