Leicester eyeing Brentford striker Scott Hogan

Leicester City are eyeing Brentford striker Scott Hogan.

Hogan, 24, recovered from a bad knee injury to finish last season with a flood of goals for Brentford.

The Sun says the shrewd champions want to know if it was a one-off spurt or a sign of his quality.

Hogan didn't get off to the best of starts in his professional football career.

He ended the 2015/16 season with seven goals in seven games, which has seemingly alerted Claudio Ranieri at Leicester.

Hogan will be desperate to follow Jamie Vardy's rags to riches story. The England man also played for Stocksbridge Park Steels and FC Halifax Town, before moving on to Fleetwood Town and then Leicester City in the Premier League.
