Leicester City are believed to be getting close to a deal for Andrej Kramaric.
Sky Sports suggest that the 23-year old HNK Rijeka striker is on his way to England to undergo a medical with the Foxes.
Kramaric has recently been linked with a shock move to Chelsea but fresh reports indicate that Leicester could win the race for his services as they will be able to offer him regular first team football alongside the likes of Leonardo Ulloa, Jamie Vardy and David Nugent.
It has also emerged that a Premier League rule has denied the Blues the opportunity to purchase the player before sending him on loan to Leicester which was believed to be part of their plans.
The rule states: "A Temporary transfer to a club may not take place in the Transfer Window in which the Transferor Club acquired the Player's registration."
Since arriving at Rijeka from Dinamo Zagreb in August 2013, Kramaric has been in prolific form having scored 55 goals in 64 appearances.
