Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu has apologised after Turkey's thrashing by World Cup qualifying opponents Holland.
Soyuncu conceded a penalty and received a red card as Turkey lost 6-1 to Holland on Tuesday night, their heaviest defeat since 1990.
After the game, Soyuncu tweeted: “A night that I don't want to live again in my career. I am very sorry for the red card I was shown.
"I apologise to all my team-mates and the public."
The result means Turkey slipped from top to third in a tightly-contested Group G, with the Netherlands and Norway both two points ahead.
