Paul Konchesky has escaped serious injury after totalling his Mercedes on Sunday.
The Leicester City defender, who has spent the season on loan with QPR, wrote off his car but somehow escaped with only cute and bruises.
The 34-year-old former Charlton Athletic, Tottenham, West Ham United, Fulham, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest left-back was taken to hospital in a neck brace but was given permission to return home later in the day before he and wife Lyndsay posted pictures of the wreck on Instagram via Twitter.
