Leicester City defender Jonny Evans will join up with the Northern Ireland squad for their friendly against Luxembourg, after originally being left out of the squad due to injury.
The centre-back has been on the sidelines since December after undergoing an operation on a hamstring injury. He was originally not expected back until April, but was pictured back in training ahead of last week's Europa Conference League clash against Rennes.
While he did not make the trip to France, Evans was included on the bench for the weekend's win over Brentford, coming on to play the final 20 minutes of the game.
His comeback will serve as a major boost to City as well as his national side ahead of the international break.
The defender was originally left out of the Northern Ireland squad for the friendlies against Luxembourg and Hungary. But after a conversation with Brendan Rodgers, manager Ian Baraclough has revealed that Evans will be involved in one of the games, reports the Leicester Mercury.
