Leicester City defender Jonny Evans believes they have a Harry Maguire replacement at the club.
The Premier League side lost their most high profile defender to Manchester United late in the transfer window.
But Evans believes that youngster Caglar Soyuncu showed why Leicester were okay with letting Maguire leave.
Soyuncu impressed during the first game of the season, a goalless draw against Wolves.
"If I'm playing with Caglar, I feel like I can coach him through the game or give him advice as we're going along," said Evans to reporters after the game.
"I thought he was excellent, I thought he was man of the match and it was great to see.
"Everyone was worried about Harry leaving but Caglar has stepped in. I think if any of the lads step in... Wes (Morgan) is a hero here, Filip (Benkovic) has come back from on loan at Celtic and has built up a good reputation there.
"It's great that Soyuncu has come in and I can help the young lads if I am playing alongside them.
"I thought he was really aggressive at the right times. He's a really strong boy. We all know from seeing him in training. He's very strong and it's important that he uses that to his advantage.
"I thought he handled (Raul) Jimenez, who is a really good striker, really well. He's got great pace as well. He showed it brilliantly and defended fantastically."
