Leicester defender Ben Chilwell admits his England debut brought mixed emotions last night.

Left-back Chilwell impressed in the 0-0 draw with Croatia in the Nations League.

“It is a massive day for myself and my family, it was about having a good game, a good performance and doing well for the team," Chilwell told Sky Sports.

“Of course, you would like your family to be here but I am sure they are all watching it on TV. It would have been nice to have them here. That is part and parcel of the game, we have to get on with it.

"It was strange, when you step out and sing the national anthem in an empty stadium. We were all aware it would be a weird environment."
