Leicester City coach Mike Stowell admits the players are excited by the arrival of Brendan Rodgers.

The new Foxes manager spoke to the players after seeing them beat Brighton last night.

Stowell revealed: “He was very positive – bouncing. The lads were pleased to see him and he told them the only reason he'd left Celtic was to work with them.

“He's going to bring something special to the club. He's just spoken to the lads and they were in awe of him. I can retire now!"
