Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers says they won't rush Wesley Fofana recovery.

Fofana is working his way back from a serious ankle injury in preseason.

Rodgers said, "We have to be careful with Wesley, he's only just joined training. He's not imminently close to playing. Seeing him back, you see what we've missed.

"Throughout his rehabilitation he has been superb, particularly for a young player. He's worked ever so hard.

"He's aggressive, he fights for every ball, he's got a great mentality. When you have that back in your training it will always improve the level."
