Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers insists they'll be ready for Liverpool on Boxing Day.

Their title challenging hopes took a hit on Saturday after defeat to Manchester City.

But Rodgers said, “There's disappointment, because when you're competitive, it's always disappointing to lose a game, but we'll get them right and we're looking forward to being at home.

“We'll be firing and ready to get a good performance and result.

“It will be a different game. Another top-class team, but with a different style. We have to be ready for that.

“The key thing for us is to make sure to bring our game to it. For too long on Saturday, we didn't do that."
