Leicester boss Rodgers pleased with Soumare, Daka in Napoli draw

Brendan Rodgers was happy with Boubakary Soumare and Patson Daka after Leicester City's Europa League game against Napoli.

The two were both involved from the start in the game, doing their part to help the team to a 2-2 draw against the Italian giants.

Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes got Leicester's goals, while Victor Osimhen managed a second-half double for Napoli.

Manager Rodgers spoke to reporters after the game, highlighting the contributions of his two summer signings.

He said, per Leicestershire Live: "Bouba I was delighted with. He had a really good 70 minutes. But he tired towards the end. It's his first start in a really high level game.

"He showed good composure and physicality. I was disappointed for him with the goal and the big celebration. He's always a threat and always looks to get into the box."
