Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has outlined his plans for Filip Benkovic moving forward.

The two are well acquainted, given Benkovic was on loan at Celtic this season under Rodgers.

Now reunited at Leicester, Benkovic will be hoping that he can get into the first team under his new boss.

"The whole plan for him was to get him game time," Rodgers said of Benkovic to reporters.

"We took him up to Celtic which was a huge club with big pressures to play.

"He has done very well.

"All the loan players will look to come back and then we will decide where we will go from there."
