Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted with their capture of Wesley Fofana.
The Foxes, after months of negotiations, landed Fofana from St Etienne in the final days of the summer market.
Rodgers said, "Thanks to his good start to the season, he was called up by France, it's a very good experience for him. I have the feeling that sometimes players develop later. For me, silver medals are always the ones that break through, unlike gold medals among young people.
"This boy took the silver medal route. You can see through his journey that he had to fight to get there and when the opportunity to play for the first team came up he took it and was amazing.
"At 19, he still has a lot to learn but he will adapt without problem to the physical dimension of the English game. The speed of this one, the tactical challenges and the tempo will be very different from what he experienced in France."
