Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is key to Celtic landing Fousseni Diabate before Monday's transfer deadline.

The Sun says Diabate is out of favour at the King Power Stadium and former Hoops chief Rodgers is willing to let him leave on loan.

The winger, 23 is yet to play this season and spent the second half of last term on loan at Sivasspor in Turkey.

Neil Lennon is keen to bolster his squad and recently admitted he is expecting some new faces through the door at Celtic Park before the window closes at midnight on Monday, September 2.
