Leicester boss Rodgers has no doubts playing Choudhury against Liverpool

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers says he has no doubts playing Hamza Choudhury today against Liverpool.

Choudhury was targeted on social media after the game at Anfield earlier this season, in which he was criticised for a forceful challenge on Mohamed Salah. Leicester reported the abuse to police, but no arrest has been made.

Rodgers said: "I wouldn't even think about not playing him. He made a tackle and there was nothing in it. He has been absolutely fine, he knows the club will always fight for him and the players to make a stand against any form of racism.

"It's not nice but he's a tough boy, he's a young guy who is a real leader in this fight. He is always there to play if we need him.

"The team has been playing at a very high level in the first half of the season so it's been difficult for him but when he's been asked to play he's come in and done a really good job."
