Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is happy with the application of their young players in preseason.
A host of the club's academy products have featured throughout pre-season, with nine of the 17 players to feature in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Blackburn graduating from City's youth ranks.
Rodgers has previously suggested they would be loaned out to Championship or League One clubs in order for them to experience more first-team football and higher-pressure matches.
And while that is still the plan, the boss has also said that will only be the case if he does not choose to keep them around.
“I think it's always tough for them," Rodgers told LCFC TV about the youngsters after Saturday's 1-1 draw.
“They're coming in and they're not used to playing with them, but what I would say is that all of our young academy players have come in and acquitted themselves well."
