Leicester boss Rodgers happy facing Wolves for season kickoff

Leicester City are gearing up for their first full season with Brendan Rodgers and the former Celtic man expects to make their home a fortress.

The Foxes will be looking to build on last season's ninth-place finish.

City's opening day opponents Wolves marked their return to the Premier League with a seventh-place finish and Rodgers welcomes the challenge.

"It won't be easy for us against Wolves, who enjoyed a brilliant season to finish seventh in the Premier League in the last campaign and are a team full of quality," said Rodgers.

"Equally, I don't think there will be any teams in the Premier League that will have been pleased to travel to King Power Stadium on the opening day knowing the quality we have in our own squad."
