Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is desperate to keep hold of Youri Tielemans.
The midfielder is on-loan at the Foxes from AS Monaco.
The 21-year-old has proved a big hit with the Foxes and is already on the radar of a number of top clubs including Tottenham and Manchester United, says the Mirror.
Rodgers is concerned that Leicester could miss out if they let the player slip out of their grasp while they are in prime position to land him from Monaco.
Tielemans is receptive to making the move permanent and the one big bargaining tool they have is Adrien Silva, who went to the French club in a loan 'swap' deal.
Silva failed to make any impression at the King Power but has emerged as one of the main players with Monaco.
