Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers was coy over the absences of Ben Chilwell and Hamza Choudhury after defeat at Burnley.
Chilwell travelled with the squad, but Choudhury did not. Rodgers was not clear about the reasons for their absence.
"They weren't available for training in the week in some of the important sessions that we had, and of course I had to go with the players who we trusted to come here and get the result," said the manager.
"Ben's obviously been a little tired anyway of late, played a lot of games, so we took him out, and him and Hamza missed an important session for us, so that's why they weren't in the squad."
Asked whether the decision to omit the duo was due to injury or fatigue, Rodgers said: "No, no, no. It's a personal one, that. It's one where both boys weren't available to train in a tactical session we were looking for, so we had to move on."
