Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers insists the club will push to sign an attacking midfielder before the transfer window closes.
The Foxes are looking for a replacement for Dennis Praet, who has suffered a long-term injury.
"For a period of time, we've known the type we would want," Rodgers said on the search for an attacking midfielder. "We've had a few players on the list. We have a number of targets, but it's just about the availability of those at this stage of the season.
"Whether we get one in or not, I'm not sure. I would love to get another attacking midfield player because that would also allow one or two of our boys to get out and get playing, but if we don't, there will be nothing that the club haven't done.
"If we can get someone in, great, if not, we'll just have to wait until the summer."
