Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has hailed the impact of N'Golo Kante this season.

The midfielder is fast winning praise from English experts up and down the country.

Ranieri said of the former Caen midfielder: "I'm surprised by how quickly he has adapted. It was not simple, but he explodes because his game is close to English football.

"He is attentive. He quickly understands where the ball goes. This is a quiet lad on the ground, he is never heard. When I speak to him, he lowers his head, I like his way of working.

"He's a nice guy, everyone laughs with him because everyone loves him."
