Leicester City boss Claude Puel is adamant they won't lose Harry Maguire in January.
Manchester United made a move for Leicester ace Maguire last summer after the centre-back's superb World Cup with England. But the stopper ended up staying and penning a new five-year deal worth £20million.
Foxes boss Puel is now confident of keeping Maguire, 25, in the January window - even if United return.
Puel said: “We cannot have guarantees but I think Harry decided this summer to remain with us and play with us for another season.“He is happy with us and saw the quality of the team and its ambition.
“Harry is a valuable player for the club and it is important to keep our best players and maintain our ambition this season.“I think we will not have a problem this winter because we have a good squad with good guys."
