Leicester City manager Claude Puel believes that fans are now getting the "real" Papy Mendy.
The French midfielder started for the first time in 19 months for the club and was impressive against Wolves. Leicester won the game 2-0 and Puel was pleased with the player's contribution.
"Papy came back at the beginning of the season in pre-season without injury," said Puel to Leicestershire Live.
"When he played last season, it was not the Papy I know with me at Nice. He was injured.
"He came back with good fitness. He made a strong pre-season friendly games. He continues, he came back after a little injury.
"I'm happy with his work, with Ndidi and against this team.
"He was good with the ball, they worked a lot in the midfield, with the ball, without the ball. I'm happy with him."
