Leicester City manager Claude Puel has explained why he is choosing to partner Wes Morgan with Harry Maguire.
Even though Leicester have signed three central defenders in the summer for more than 30 million, it appears Morgan is still first choice alongside Maguire.
And there are reasons why Puel is preferring the 34-year-old to play in defence.
"For Wes, the intensity of his training sessions is better than last season, it's a challenge for him," said Puel to Leicestershire Live.
"We have competition in the team around him and he is a competitive player, but it's a good thing to maintain that competition among themselves, and to give us a good options.
"It is important to have good options for the future. I'm happy for Wes because he works a lot.
"Wes has the experience and he knows himself very well he can make a difference."
