Leicester City boss Claude Puel was delighted with Hamza Choudhury's performance for victory at Chelsea.
Choudhury made his first Premier League appearance of the season in the 1-0 win at Chelsea, the midfielder handed a start after his impressive display in the midweek Carabao Cup clash with Manchester City.
“I was happy about Hamza against Man City and I think he confirmed why (against Chelsea)," said Puel.
“He's a young player from the academy but for me it's important to give game-time for players to continue to develop. If an academy player can have good quality, he can come and compete with his team-mates.
“I'm happy about the work, about the game of Hamza. He needs to continue this way.
“It's a good response for the team and for the work at the club, not just the professional players but at the academy. It's a reward for all of the coaches and for all the hard work in the academy."
