Leicester City boss Claude Puel insists he has no doubts about the commitment of Kasper Schmeichel.

The player's famous father, Peter, has hinted the Dane could be on the move this summer.

But Puel has since discussed the matter with his goalkeeper, who signed a new five-year contract in August and was captain at Wembley in the absence of Wes Morgan.

"He is happy to play with Leicester, this is the most important thing," said Puel. "He understands the project and what we are trying to put in place. He extended his contract a few months ago.

"I had a good discussion with Kasper. I can count on him. He is our captain with Wes. He has a good impact and influence on the team and a high level in his game. After, I'm sorry, I cannot the manage other people around the club. We can have different feeling but it is not my concern."
