Leicester City boss Claude Puel admits Marc Albrighton's season is virtually over.

Puel also revealed Albrighton is likely to miss most of the season as he requires surgery on his injured hamstring.

"We know the injury to Marc Albrighton. He has had a serious hamstring injury and it's bad news for us, for the team," said Puel.

"He will not be available until the end of the season.

"Normally it would be a surgery for him but it's longer than just a hamstring injury. He will have surgery."
