Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has heaped praise on Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn.

The youngster struck twice in their victory over QPR on Saturday.

Leicester are on course for the play-offs a year after coming up from League One - and Sunderland striker Waghorn has had a big hand in that.

Pearson said: "He's been a great loan signing for us. He's certainly played his part."
